NetBank login information for customers transferred from Citibank  

You need your Erste NetBank ID and NetBank password for the first login to Erste NetBank.
Erste Bank has sent you your initial NetBank password in a text message. For the purposes of security you will need to change this initial password during your first login.

Browser settings 
You can use any browser but we recommend to disable ad blocking extensions/addons (e.g. AdBlock) and enable Javascipt when logging in. 

If you have problems with you password: 
In case of you are locked out of NetBank or your password is not valid for any reason, please contact Erste TeleBank

Bankcard activation and usage for customers transferred from Citibank

The transfer of Customer accounts was completed between 4 and 6 February 2017. Citibank debit and credit cards have been blocked, and the new Erste bankcards can now be activated.

Erste bankcards will be activated automatically with the first free balance enquiry at any ATM.

The PIN code for each Erste card is identical to the PIN code of the corresponding Citibank debit or credit card.

To customers who had not specified a PIN code with Citibank, Erste sends the PIN codes for their new cards in February 2017 by postal mail.

ERSTE BANK HUNGARY ZRT. would like to draw the attention of online banking customers to the fact that computer criminals have devised a new method to try and abuse the accounts of banking customers without authorisation.

Hacking attacks may be prevented by applying appropriate attention and proper security measures!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Banks never post messages prompting users to supply their data on their websites or on the pages of their online banking services.
